Annamayya: A clash broke out between Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) workers during a rally of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. Incidents of arson and stone pelting were reported.
A video of the clash also surfaced on social media. In the video, it could be seen that several vehicles were torched by the supporters of both parties. A police bus and armoured vehicles were also reportedly set ablaze.

The clash erupted after Naidu’s convoy was blocked. According to NDTV, Several people, including 20 policemen were injured in the incident. After the clash, Naidu gave a stern warning to YSRCP.
“If you come with sticks. I’ll come with sticks too, if you declare war, l’ll declare war too. Every drop of blood of my workers that is shed is like my blood being shed. Why are you resorting to such violence?” the TDP president said as quoted by the media house.
Last week also, workers of both parties clashed. Notably, ahead of the assembly election in Andhra Pradesh next year, Naidu was visiting several districts of the state as part of his outreach program.
