Travis Kelce admits he is feeling the pressure as he gears up for his first Valentine’s Day with girlfriend Taylor Swift this year.
Kelce and Swift went public with their romance back in September and have dominated headlines ever since, with the pop sensation heading to Kansas City to watch her NFL-star boyfriend play for the Chiefs on several occasions this season.
The smitten couple have also been seen out on a number of date nights, while they also met each other’s parents just a few months into their relationship – with Travis introducing himself to Taylor’s dad Scott at her Buenos Aires concert in November.
Their love affair has gone from strength to strength over the past four months, and in exactly five weeks Kelce and Swift will be celebrating their first Valentine’s Day together.
On the latest episode of his and brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, the Kansas City tight end briefly mentioned the pressure that comes with trying to find the right gift for his girlfriend while carrying out an advertisement for E-commerce company Etsy.

Kelce and Swift’s relationship has gone from strength to strength in recent months, with the pop star attending several of her NFL-star boyfriend’s games for the Chiefs
Ahead of their first Valentine’s Day, Kelce conceded that there is pressure on the gift he selects
‘Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day pressure like Jason and I,’ Kelce admitted, ‘or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch.’
Jason, on the other hand, has become much more familiar with the panic of Valentine’s Day shopping after spending the last nine years in a relationship with wife Kylie.
However, the Philadelphia Eagles star says he still manages to leave his gift-buying until the very last minute on a yearly basis.
‘With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s about that time of year I start shopping for something extra special for Kylie,’ he said during the commercial before adding: ‘That’s kind of a lie, I usually do it last second just like every other man out here on the planet.
‘I usually get the same chocolates every year, the same flowers, and then a card.’
Despite being one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, Travis’ life has changed dramatically since he began dating Swift towards the end of 2023.
The 34-year-old is now one half of the most famous celebrity couple on the planet, which has also boosted his popularity on social media significantly.
His brother Jason, meanwhile, joked that he leaves his gift-buying for wife Kylie (right) until the very last minute
Travis and Taylor were recently pictured enjoying a kiss at a glitzy party on New Year’s Eve
Kelce’s Instagram following jumped by more than three million in 2023, owing almost entirely to his romance with Swift.
The couple recently spent New Year’s Eve together after Swift went to watch Kelce and the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals, before they were seen sharing a kiss at a party with friends to see in 2024.
The following day Travis was seen driving Taylor to one of his other properties in Kansas City as they recovered from the party on New Year’s Day.
