Chatfield, 27, who was recently diagnosed with ADHD, went to war with Megan on Monday night by posting a lengthy rant to her Instagram Stories.

‘Hey queen. Thankyou so much for this unfounded, invalid and ableist opinion,’ she started.

‘Thankyou so f**king much that you’ve decided that you think people are trying to get on medication to lose weight from ADHD medication. It’s the new influencer drug for weight loss you reckon?’

‘Do you know how f**king hard it is to get ADHD medication or to get diagnosed? Do you know how hard it is?’ she asked.

The former Bachelor star continued by saying Marx was ‘adding stigma’ as women in particular are ‘underdiagnosed’.

On Monday, Marx addressed an Instagram Q+A question that asked if she thought ADHD was an ‘influencer fad’

‘Maybe the reason we’re seeing an increase in diagnosis is because people are actually f**king understanding that ADHD isn’t just naughty boys running around and ripping things apart,’ she continued.

‘It’s actually a diagnosis and a health condition that affects people’s lives.’

Chatfield took particular issue with Marx’s comments about ADHD medication and weight loss, saying that weight loss and weight gain are ‘deeply personal issues’ and experiences.

Chatfield also called out Marx for her comments about ADHD and weight loss, saying that weight loss and weight gain are ‘deeply personal issues’ and experiences

‘Weird thing to say, that people would take it for the weight loss. Weird thing to f**king say,’ she said.

‘Who the f**k do you think you are? Saying that people are owed an explanation for anyone’s weight loss or weight gain. If anyone’s changing their f**king body. Who the f**k are you?

‘No onw has to tell you anything, particularly why they’ve lost weight. No one owes you f**king anything.’

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects one in 20 people and results in poor impulse control and focus, according to Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital

‘I do think that ADHD diagnosis – there’s a possibility that it could be a little bit of a trend,’ she said.

‘There’s a few things that are interesting to me… I also wonder about all these influencers that are being diagnosed and medicated for ADHD that have suddenly lost a lot of weight.’

Marx went on to claim that ADHD medication is ‘basically meth’ and makes you ‘lose your appetite’.

‘[Influencers] are very happy to talk about being on medication, happy to talking about ADHD. But they don’t want to talk about the fact they’ve lost weight – because of their medication and I think that’s problematic too,’ she added.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects one in 20 people and results in poor impulse control and focus, according to Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.

Last month, Chatfield opened up about the difficulties she’s experienced since being diagnosed with the disorder during an episode of her podcast.

‘I’m so sick of my ADHD f***ing with my life,’ she said.

‘Yeah, just not like, not very good at anything and not being able to organise my life like an actual functioning adult.’

‘I’m so sick of my ADHD f***ing with my life,’ she cried. ‘Yeah, just not like, not very good at anything and not being able to organise my life like an actual functioning adult’

Back in August, Abbie said her recent diagnosis had been met with scepticism as she wasn’t seen to have the typically ‘disruptive’ symptoms associated with the disorder.

‘A lot of my female friends have recently been diagnosed with ADHD. Is it something that’s really undiagnosed in women?’ Abbie asked psychologist Steph Georgiou.

Georgio said many young girls who struggle with ADHD at school typically engage in ‘hiding behaviour’ by sitting at the back of the classroom to avoid being noticed.

Abbie confirmed this was indeed her school experience as she was a ‘goody two-shoes’ and the two discussed how this behaviour can result in a delayed diagnosis.

The news was confirmed on her Hot Nights With Abbie radio program, and she said she’d been trying to get a diagnosis for her symptoms for 18 months.

Abbie is one of Australia’s most in-demand influencers and media personalities.

In addition to her popular radio program and podcast, she has endless lucrative endorsement deals on Instagram and is a judge on The Masked Singer Australia.
