Located near Frankfurt and often overlooked, Wiesbaden is one of Germany’s most underrated, historically important cities, owing to its preserved architecture because of how little the town saw of World War 2. The castle, combined with the scenery surrounding it, appears to be something almost from a storybook, and due to how appealing it is, it is often regarded as one of Germany’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting over one million visitors annually.

The Regensburg Sausage Kitchen, also known as “Historische Wurstküche zu Regensburg,” is a restaurant located in the city of Regensburg that is often considered to be the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the world because it has been open since the 1100s. Besides its history, visiting guests can enjoy classic German fare of sausages, sauerkraut, saure zipfel, sauerbraten and classic German beer.
