On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York.

Two-time MVP Steph Curry is playing in his 926th career game, which ties Bill Bridges and Hall of Famers James Worthy and Earl Monroe for 226th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.

Following Bridges, Worthy and Monroe, the next players for Curry to pass will be Thurl Bailey (928) and John Lucas (928).

Curry is in the middle of another incredible season and is averaging 28.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range in 43 games.

He is coming off a historic performance (against the Atlanta Hawks) where he put up 60 points, six rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 22/38 from the field and 10/23 from the three-point range in 41 minutes of playing time.

Despite Curry’s excellence, the Warriors lost by a score of 141-134 in overtime.

The team is just 21-25 in 46 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 8-12 in the 20 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center.

Following the Nets, the Warriors will have two more games on their road trip against the Philadelphia 76ers (on Wednesday) and Indiana Pacers (on Thursday).

Curry was the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Davidson and is in his 15th season in the league (all with Golden State).
