Just after the late Angus Cloud’s co-star Zendaya shared a mural tribute to him in their hometown of Oakland, another tribute to the actor has been revealed.
The streaming service Max has added a brief tribute to the 25-year-old actor, who was found dead in his family’s home in Oakland on July 31, just a week after burying his father in Ireland, who passed at 65 in May from mesothelioma.
The first episodes of Euphoria Season 1 and Season 2 now feature brief tributes to the late actor, featuring a smiling photo of the actor and reading, ‘In Memory of Angus Cloud 1998-2023.’
HBO released a statement mourning the loss of Cloud last week, which read, ‘We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud.
‘He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time,’ the statement concluded.

Oakland police and fire departments responded to a 911 call made by Cloud’s mother Lisa Cloud Mclaughlin, who reported a ‘possible overdose’ around 11:30am on July 31, TMZ reported.
She also said Cloud did not have a pulse, with the actor pronounced dead on the scene when responders arrived.
Lisa, who was born and raised in Ireland, emigrated to the US along with Cloud’s father, Conor Hickey. The pair shared three children together, of which Angus is the eldest, followed by the actor’s sisters Molly and Fiona.
Conor passed away in his native Ireland on May 18, with the initial report stating he passed after a ‘short illness,’ that was later revealed to be mesothelioma, a form of cancer that is often caused by exposure to asbestos.
Cloud reportedly took the death very hard, and while the initial reports claimed the actor was battling ‘suicidal thoughts’ after his father’s death, his mother Lisa disputed those claims.
‘I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one,’ she said in a Facebook post.
‘I don’t know if or what he may have put in his body… I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art projects, fell asleep and didn’t wake up,’ Lisa added
‘We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it’s abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world,’ she said, adding he had planned on helping family members through college as well.

Classmates: Cloud attended the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts, where Zendaya was one of his classmates, but his acting career was kickstarted when he was discovered while working as a waiter at a Brooklyn restaurant by Euphoria casting director Jennifer Venditti
‘Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case. To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness part of your daily life,’ she stated.

She cast him as drug dealer Fezco, who, despite his illicit profession, serves as a moral compass for many on the show.
He also appeared in the 2021 film North Hollywood, and he had Your Lucky Day and Freaky Tales with Pedro Pascal in post-production.
