NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — James Bishop had 28 points in George Washington’s 81-71 win over Delaware on Sunday night at the Baha Mar Hoops.
Bishop was 10 of 16 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 8 from the line for the Revolutionaries (6-1). Maximus Edwards added 24 points while shooting 10 for 16, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc, and they also had eight rebounds. Darren Buchanan Jr. was 5 of 8 shooting and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens (5-2) were led in scoring by Jyare Davis, who finished with 23 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Gerald Drumgoole Jr. added 12 points for Delaware. In addition, Cavan Reilly finished with 11 points.
