Boy George hits the beach with family in Australia after revealing his true feelings about I’m A Celebrity stint

BOY George has been seen hitting the beach with his family in Australia after he was voted out of I'm A Celebrity.

The Culture Club singer – who revealed his true feelings about the ITV show by snubbing the after-camp interviews – looked to be enjoying his freedom as he headed out in Queensland.

Boy George, 61, could be seen taking a dip in the water as he kept it causal in slack black trousers and a black top for the day out.

The Karma Chameleon singer shielded his head from the strong sunshine Down Under with a head wrap as he paddled in the water.

Looking to be enjoying his freedom, snapping selfies on the beach, he was joined by his sister, nephew and his agent.

He smiled wide as he enjoyed the golden sand on Surfers Paradise beach in Queensland – which lies along Australia's Gold Coast.

George's sister Siobhan and nephew looked to be enjoying the ocean as they were watched by his agent, standing in the sunshine.

It comes after Boy George revealed how he really feels about I'm A Celebrity after refusing to take part in a major element of the show.

The Culture Club singer took to his Instagram page to hit out against the “many rules” he had to follow during his time on the show.

He snubbed his post-exit interview with ITV yesterday and planned to fly home ahead of the grand final this weekend.

The Karma Chameleon singer has since opened up about his feelings towards I'm A Celeb, as he hit out against not having “freedom”.

The star returned to the ITV jungle studio to “answer questions submitted by fans” in a video posted on Thursday afternoon.

Boy George said to the camera: “Hi, it's me, Boy George. I'm back in the jungle to answer some of your lovely questions.”

He went on to read the first one, which asked: “What was your biggest craving while in the jungle?”

Not holding back, George then hit out: “My biggest craving in the jungle was freedom, was not being told what to do.

“You know, that's been the most challenging thing for me, having so many rules. So I was glad to get out and have a shower.”

It comes after Boy George was “refused permission to fly home” after asking show bosses to skip out on the I'm A Celebrity final.

While Boy George also dropped a massive hint he's fuming at show bosses – as he failed to turn up for his post-show interviews.
