The visit of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to Türkiye has been postponed. It is likely that he will visit Ankara at the end of April or the beginning of May, reports the Russian media outlet TASS.
According to diplomatic sources from TASS in Türkiye, Putin’s visit to Ankara, which was planned for February 12, has been postponed. Meanwhile, other details are not disclosed.
In a comment to a propaganda news agency, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that he could not confirm the aforementioned information because “no terms have been officially announced.” However, he added that preparations for high-level contacts were ongoing.
Later, a source from TASS in Ankara added that Putin’s visit to Türkiye was expected to take place at the end of April or the beginning of May.

Putin’s visit to Ankara in February was reported by the news agency Türkiye. It was expected that the dictator would visit Ankara on the 12th. Russian media, citing their own sources, reported that the aforementioned date was probable, but not final, as negotiations were ongoing.
According to Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to the Russian dictator on international affairs, during the talks, Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will discuss the war against Ukraine, as well as the grain corridor.
