The Governor of Voronezh region (Russian Federation), Aleksandr Gusiev, announced the destruction of an alleged Ukrainian drone.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, and the consequences are being clarified.
“The duty air defense means over Voronezh detected and destroyed a Ukrainian UAV of an aircraft type. The ground consequences are being clarified. According to preliminary data, no civilians were harmed,” reported Gusiev.
Attack of drones on Russia
During the night of February 17, Russia was attacked by drones. They were reportedly shot down in four regions.
In Izhevsk, a fire occurred at a manufacturing plant. In the morning, it became known that drones could have been produced there.
In January, a drone attacked one of the largest oil refineries in Yaroslavl.
Drones also targeted the maritime terminal in the Russian Ust-Luga. Later, it was revealed to be a special operation by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to surprise Russia with Ukrainian drones and EW (Electronic Warfare).
