Full Moon: November’s last moon is TONIGHT

Full moon is one of the most beautiful and spectacular events of the whole month, and the last moon for November happens tonight!

Tonight’s moon will be the last lunar event for the month until December’s lunar event.

After that, we can look forward to the lunar calendar for next year, as there is only another full moon again in January, 2024!

Here’s more about tonight’s moon, and why it’s one of the most spectacular events left for the rest of the year.

Full Moon: November’s last moon is TONIGHT

November’s last full moon happens tonight, according to the website Moon Giant.

It’s the last scheduled lunar event for the month, as we get ready for another moon in December – and then that’s the last of the lunar events to happen for 2023.

Make sure you look up at the sky tonight if you want to see the full moon appearing in all its majestic splendour. There’s only one more chance left!

Beaver Moon: 27 November

The November lunar event is usually called the Beaver Moon, because this is traditionally the time of year associated with beavers.

After this, there’s only one more moon left for the rest of the year – and only one opportunity to see it!

Full Moon for December

According to the website Time and Date, the last full moon of the year will happen on 28 December.

Traditionally, this is called the Cold or Ice Moon, due to the associated changing of the seasons.

If you don’t want to miss the last moon of the year, make sure you set a reminder for the right day!

January 2024 Full Moon

January’s moon event happens on 6 January, 2024 according to Moon Giant.

It’s a great chance to see the first moon of the year, and you might even be one of the first to catch the new year’s moon on camera.
