Ahead of today’s afternoon game between the Boston Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings, Bs head coach Jim Montgomery announced some lineup changes.

“Lauko in, Steen out,” Montgomery said.

Forward Jakub Lauko will be on the fourth line with centreman Jesper Boqvist and Anthony Richard, who was just recalled from the AHLs Providence Bruins today.

Blueliner Kevin Shattenkirk will take the place of Parker Wotherspoon, and Linus Ullmark will be their netminder tonight.

He said forward Trent Frederic has been good on the third line.

“Frederic has been so good in the third line usage for two years now, and that’s where his production comes from. So, putting him back there, I think, is going to give us a heavy third line that can hold onto pucks and get to hard areas,” Montgomery said.

He said Frederic and his now linemate, centreman Morgan Geekie, play well together in those areas.

“We’ve hung on to a lot of pucks, I think we need to have a lot more bodies in the blue paint, especially one, and driving there off of entries,” Montgomery said.
