Dua Lipa danced the night away at the 2024 Grammy Awards!
The “Houdini” singer, 28, electrified the stage on Sunday as she debuted her new single “Training Season” during an electric opening medley.
The musician hit the stage in a leather fit while surrounded by several dancers to open the show, before walking through the crowd and working her way into recent single “Houdini.” The performance was complete with blue stage lights and plenty of group choreography throughout.
It was a big night for Lipa with nominations in the song of the year and best song written for visual media categories for the track “Dance the Night” from the Barbie soundtrack.
Earlier in the night, the Barbie soundtrack was awarded best compilation soundtrack for visual media and Billie Eilish took home best song written for visual media for her track on it.
After being announced as one of the night’s many performers in mid-January, she shared behind-the-scenes photos of her preparation on Instagram, writing, “Grammy rehearsals and other fun thingsssss.”
Apart from having her latest single, “Training Season,” dropping on Feb. 15, Lipa has been busy working on her new album, which she confirmed to T Magazine will come out sometime in 2024.
The “1970s-era psychedelia” inspired project is one she said will pivot from her traditional disco sound but one that won’t “alienate” fans. Lipa has also taken control of her music by purchasing the publishing rights to her own catalog.

“I think it’s just something I’ve always wanted — to be in control of my own music, and I think all young artists should really understand the business behind music, especially in the beginning,” she said while appearing on the Audacy Check In podcast.
“I think it’s incredibly important, and so to be able to have all the rights back to my music feels really good,” she added. “You know, it’s my life’s work, so it’s cool to be the person who says what happens with it.”
