The Russian broadcast for the end of the nine overtime game between Penn State and Illinois game is fantastic. You need to check this out.
The Penn State Nittany Lions and Illinois Fighting Illini had a weird afternoon that apparently got an international audience.
You need to check out the end of this ridiculous history-making game from every angle and perspective possible, and that includes from a Russian broadcast.

The Russian broadcast team for the Penn State-Illinois game seemed to enjoy the end of the ninth overtime
It’s great to see college football being enjoyed in other countries and this broadcast crew certainly seems to be enjoying calling the end of this absurd and asinine game.
Part of what makes a sport so great is seeing it unite people from various cultures. College football is generally considered an American sport and so it’s always a thrill to hear a broadcast designed to reach a broader audience.
As someone who doesn’t speak or comprehend Russian, I have no clue what any of these folks said during this broadcast, but it’s a ton of fun that they seem to be having a ton of fun. That said, if there’s someone out there who could provide a translation, it’d be greatly appreciated.
