Zara Tindall didn’t let a grey day rain on her parade as she cut an elegant figure for day one of Cheltenham Festival.
The Olympian and mum-of-three, 42, stepped out with her rugby player husband of 13 years, Mike, at the Gloucestershire venue on Tuesday.

Tuesday marked the beginning of the four-day annual Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire which sees a total of 28 races and it was a great day for the Irish.

Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore kicked off the festivities and impressively maintained her glory with a victory on day one for the sixth consecutive time. Slade Steel won the two-mile Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
The Tipperary native, who made history three years ago when she was the first woman to be crowned top rider at Cheltenham Festival, said: ‘It’s unbelievable, I obviously love this place and it’s just amazing to be coming here, riding these brilliant horses. Henry trains them every year to come here and the way he does it is incredible.’
