Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says voters are turning away from Labor as their policies don’t appear to “help” the issues they are facing.
Aussies do not believe their ‘best days are ahead of them’ under Labor
Mr Kroger’s remarks come as Labor have a primary vote of just 32 per cent of polling.
“What they [people] don’t want are the second-rate policies that a lot of parties seem to be putting up,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“They want people who have got vision and ideas because people want to believe their best days are ahead of them.
“They look at some of the things being offered and think well that’s not going to help me much – I’m going to vote for the other mob.”
