New in Primark, M&S and George at Asda: The autumn outfits shoppers are going crazy for

Major fashion outlets have dropped their Autumn ranges for 2022

Summer 2022 came and went in all its bright coloured, low cut glory but now it is time for knits and coats to reign once again. Autumn is officially here.

When the leaves change so do the trends. Shops have been changing out their summer stock for Autumn essentials (and non essentials that just look cute) but in this age of Tiktok hauls and Instagram outfits of the day word spreads quickly – a gorgeous bargain cannot stay secret for long.

MyLondon took a look at five fashion brands and scoped out the Autumn clothes quickly gaining attention from bargain lovers. From classic boots to cozy jumpers and even ‘futuristic’ coats, here’s what shoppers are loving so far this season.

Primark

A good pair of boots will never go out of style. These £23 Primark boots come in cream and black or you can get a short zip up version for £20. Talk about options!

The long boots look just like a designer pair by Gianvito Rossi. The luxury Italian brand’s Montey Boot comes in black leather and costs £1,320, Essex Live reports.

Talking of dupes, Tiktok has been all over this thick scarf for £8 that shoppers think looks very similar to a £220 version from designer Acne Studios. Trust us, type ‘Acne dupe’ into your search bar and it will be the first thing that comes up.

Finally, Primark shoppers are obsessed with this chic £15 blazer that can be styled with a casual pair of trousers and top or more formal waistcoat and long skirt. It’s a versatile piece that had Instagram followers commenting “on my way to Primark” as soon as it was posted.

M&S

Knit vests are popping up everywhere this season and Marks and Spencer have a £29.50 moss green version that stands out from the comfy crowd. It features a zip with circular pull detail and looks great tucked in or hanging freely over a pair of wide leg jeans. Fashion seekers fell in love with the knit vest on Instagram, calling the colour “beautiful.”

George at Asda

It’s about time a coat was feature on this list, don’t you think? George at Asda isn’t quite ready to let go of the bold colour trend yet and we’re kind of feeling it.

This cobalt blue longline coat for £24 is so popular it has already sold out online. When George at Asda posted a video showing off the smart and eye-catching piece a couple of days ago the comments were flooded with shoppers lamenting the fact they could not get their hands on one.

You could always pair the coat with a jumper from Asda’s impressive knitwear collection. This £20 cream cable knit has been giving Gilmore Girls fans ‘Rory’ vibes while this £18 cream fringed hem knit jumper (also currently out of stock) has been making the rounds on Tiktok with “obsessed” shoppers desperate to find one in their local store.

Tesco F&F

Tesco is also coming in strong on the coat front this season with a £49 forest green coloured longline. The supermarket’s fashion brand F&F shared an image of the coat on its Instagram account three days and the gorgeous piece immediately attracted a lot of attention. “LOOOVE IT,” wrote on fan. “Love it! Want it,” commented another.

The knitwear section at Tesco is also getting love on social media. Tesco’s forest green coat would go perfectly over the brand’s beige knit co ord for £32. The matching turtle neck jumper and figure hugging ankle-length skirt are £16 and had fashion lovers commenting “I am literally running” when Aisling Chan shared the look on her Tiktok account.

H&M

We’ve had a couple of classic coat shapes from Tesco F&F and Asda George but H&M think they have found the future of trench coats. Sharing a sneak peak of the new long black puffer coat with belt on their Instagram, the brand wrote: “The futuristic trench coat is here.”

Shoppers immediately swooned over the item, commenting “I LOVE IT” and “So pretty,” but many were frustrated not to find it online. The coat is not yet available in the UK but will be added to the website soon, customer service confirmed.

One other item to look out for at H&M is the brown and white checked two piece “inspired by the streets of Paris.” The shacket is currently available for £34.99 but fashion fans all have their eyes on the trousers which are yet to be released.

“I can’t find the check trousers online in the UK, I love them,” commented on follower. “What about the trousers?!!” asked another. Customer service encouraged shoppers to keep their eyes on the website for updates – so get ahead of the game before they sell out!
