According to the Economic Times report, also the banks in Gujarat, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, and Goa will remain closed as they observe Ganesha Chaturthi on September 19, 2023. The report added that The festivities continue on the following day, September 20, 2023 (Wednesday), with banks in Orissa and Goa remaining closed for the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

According to the Times of India report, Ganesha Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, holds a special place in India’s cultural and religious calendar.
