Four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe announced his commitment to Ohio State on Saturday. He committed to the Buckeyes over Georgia, Michigan, and Alabama.
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle is from Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio. He is the third in-state prospect in the 2025 class for the Buckeyes, joining quarterback Tavien St. Clair and linebacker Eli Lee.
Lowe is the No. 85 overall prospect and No. 9 offensive tackle in the class of 2025. He is the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 3 player in the state of Ohio, according to the On3 industry rankings.
Following Lowe’s commitment, Ohio State’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes have seven commitments, headlined by five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez and four-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair.
