Primeros cinco detenidos por usurpación en vigencia de la nueva ley

El Gobierno informó este lunes la detención de las primeras cinco personas por el delito de usurpación -en el marco de la entrada en vigor de la nueva ley-, las que ingresaron de manera ilegal al Fundo Palermo, en la comuna de Collipulli, Región de La Araucanía.

“Hoy en La Araucanía se produjo el primer desalojo en el marco de nueva ley de usurpaciones, norma publicada el viernes en Diario Oficial”, destacó la ministra del Interior, Carolina Tohá.

“Esta nueva norma, ya vigente, entrega herramientas efectivas a las policías, al establecer que las usurpaciones siempre serán delitos y que Carabineros podrá desalojar y detener, incluyendo casos de usurpaciones no violentas”, agregó la secretaria de Estado.

Tras el ingreso de los sujetos a dicho predio, que es reclamado por comunidades mapuche del sector, Carabineros llegó al lugar y realizó un operativo en el que también incautó dos camionetas que serán sometidas a peritajes.

“ESPERAMOS QUE SE CUMPLA LA LEY”

El diputado Miguel Mellado (RN) destacó el resultado de este operativo y dijo esperar “que los jueces -al menos- les coloquen una orden de no acercarse al predio, que lo han hecho (usurpado) 28 veces estas mismas personas”.

Ahora, “si lo hacen (de nuevo), es reincidencia y quedan detenidos en prisión preventiva. Nosotros esperamos que se cumpla la ley”, enfatizó el legislador por La Araucanía.

“Esto no es una usurpación no violenta, como dice la ministra del Interior… Infórmese ministra, documéntese, porque 28 veces no es una usurpación no violenta, es violencia constante que no deja trabajar a estos agricultores que tanto han aportado al desarrollo de la Región de La Araucanía”, añadió el parlamentario de Chile Vamos.

“Esperamos que la ley sirva para que este agricultor pueda seguir trabajando tranquilamente y los jueces estén a la altura para poder terminar con esta seguidilla de usurpaciones que se han hecho al Fundo Palermo”, cerró el legislador.
