Well, if you thought the beginning of April was rainy, you were absolutely correct. We’ve seen quite a bit of rainfall across the GTA, southwestern Ontario, the nickel belt up towards Northeastern Ontario. Here’s a look at some of the numbers. As of the past two weeks of April, we’ve seen well over 50mm right across the region. Barry 116.1 millimeters of rainfall. YYZ down at the airport, 87.5mm of rainfall. We have actually surpassed our April average of rainfall which is around 63mm of rainfall and. Yes, more is on the way. But in terms of the drought monitor, this is good news down towards the Ontario. We do have some patches. Of dry in terms of the drought monitor but up towards Northern Ontario, this is where we have a bit of concern because we’re in the moderate to severe range in terms of regions that are going to be seeing the potential for more drought because there has been much precipitation across Dublin ON. But good news is as we head into the next seven days, we are tracking a lot more moisture that’s going to be coming in from the Gulf of Mexico and we could be seeing this pushing in in the long range forecast.
