PRETORIA – As chaos continues to reign at the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, hundreds of Sasco members marched to the offices of the Higher Education and Training Department.

They did this to voice their displeasure at the delay in the payment of allowances, a matter acknowledged by NSFAS earlier this week.

WATCH: SASCO DEMANDS MORE ACTION OVER NSFAS

On Thursday, Minister Blade Nzimande placed the embattled financial aid scheme under administration as the student funding controversy continues.

Nzimande is expected to give an update on NSFAS on Sunday.
