Well across Western Canada gorgeous conditions are forecasted for sun areas of the Prairie, specifically southern regions of Manitoba, where we could be looking at the first potential 20° temperature reading this weekend. The last time we saw 20° was on October 3rd, just last year. But let’s take a look at the forecast. Yes, there’s a chance to see some scattered showers, but lots of sunshine depending on where you are at 22° down towards Brandon Melitta as well 20° and Winkler 18°. In a Winnipeg we could potentially surpass that and maybe reach a 20° mark by late Saturday afternoon heading into your day Sunday. A lot more sunshine in the forecast, but a little bit of some partly cloudy skies as well. But temperatures into the mid to high teens, that’s going to be your Sunday afternoon. Honestly April, it’s very rare to see 20° temperatures. The last time we saw this was four years ago, April 30th, 22.8°. And all good things must come to an end because we are tracking a very big system that’s going to be bringing in some rain, even potential for some snow heading into next week.
