Rescue underway as box truck hangs off overpass on I-45 | North Freeway shut down

HOUSTON — A rescue is underway as a box truck hangs off an overpass on the North Freeway near Crosstimbers Wednesday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
According to Houston Transtar, this happened at 7:20 a.m. in the inbound lanes. The freeway is shut down as crews work to reach the driver.
I-45 North Freeway (southbound) @ Crosstimbers, overturned box truck on HOV Exit lane over I-45. All southbound lanes temporarily stopped. Find alternate route.
