Ben Affleck appeared in high spirits on a walk with his son Samuel in Los Angeles, following Britney Spears’ recent claim that they ‘made out’ in the late Nineties.

As the pair enjoyed some quality time together on Thursday afternoon, the 51-year-old Oscar winner smiled as he sipped on an iced coffee and strolled alongside his youngest child, 11.

For their early morning hangout, the Air actor sported a black and white flannel coat over a grey t-shirt, dark-wash jeans and a pair of eye-catching Nike sneakers with mismatched laces.

He rocked a pair of black aviator sunglasses that blocked out the California rays and kept his hazel eyes hidden.

Samuel, who Affleck shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, sported a red hoodie from Aviator Nation and matching sweatpants.

The preteen rolled his black bookbag down the street while they presumably headed to his school.

Affleck’s latest sighting comes just days after Spears, 42, made the shocking claim that they kissed, decades ago, in a since-deleted Instagram post.

She also shared a throwback snap taken ‘years ago’ of her with the actor, along with songwriter Diane Warren, from the night they locked lips.

‘Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago!!!’ she captioned the post on Instagram. ‘He’s such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night … I honestly forgot … damn that’s crazy!!! Wish I could tell you guys the story that happened before that!!! Oh dear, I’m just being a gossip girl. Psss I actually forgot!’

It’s unclear when the photo was taken but Affleck sported an identical goatee in 1999. That year he turned 27 in August and Britney turned 18 in December.

Britney went on to marry three times since then – she has tied the knot with Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline, and Sam Asghari. Currently, she is in the process of divorcing Asghari.

Ben also said ‘I do’ twice in the years to follow. He was married to Garner from 2005 to 2018 before reuniting with ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez and tying the knot with her in 2022.

The Toxic hitmaker did not detail the romantic encounter in her memoir The Woman In Me, which did include a chapter about her two-week fling with Colin Farrell.

The Grammy winner first met Farrell through a ‘club promoter friend’ before visiting him on the set of his 2003 movie S.W.A.T. Their relationship got steamy pretty quick.

In The Woman In me, she likened their ‘passionate’ fling to a ‘street fight’ and wrote they were ‘all over each other.’

During that period, he married Garner, with the couple sharing Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel. The couple split in 2018 after tying the knot in 2005.
