President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during the Munich Security Conference that he is ready to go to the front with former US President Donald Trump to show the war not just through social media.
“I invited him publicly. But it depends on his wish. We are ready. All the candidates and representatives of the two parties know we are very open. If Mr. Trump comes, I’m ready to go with him to the frontline,” the head of state said.
Zelenskyy believes that politicians who will talk about ending the war should know what it looks like.
“If we are in dialogue on how to finish the war, we have to demonstrate to decision-makers what it means, a real war. Not on Instagram,” the president of Ukraine emphasized.
Trump is planning to run for President of the United States
It is worth noting that the former president faces 91 charges in four criminal cases. These include illegal handling of classified documents, attempting to falsify election results, and illegal spending of funds collected for the presidential campaign.
However, Trump continues to participate in the pre-election campaign and intends to run for President of the United States in 2024.
At the same time, Trump has made several sharp statements regarding US membership in NATO. He stated that he wants Washington to withdraw from the Alliance, despite the fact that the US Congress has prohibited presidents of the country from unilaterally making decisions to exit NATO.
