In the forthcoming film, Patna Shuklla, Raveena Tandon takes charge as lawyer Tanvi Shukla who helps a young student clear her name. Produced by Arbaaz Khan Productions Pvt Ltd, Patna Shuklla will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on March 29. Satish Kaushik who passed away last year also has a role in the film as a judge.

The first trailer of the Hindi film was unveiled by Disney+ Hotstar on social media. The OTT platform shared on Instagram, “Anyay se dabi aawaz ke liye, nyay ka aaghaz karne aa rahi hai Tanvi. #PatnaShuklla streaming from 29th March. #PatnaShukllaOnHotstar.”

The trailer shows a young woman named Rinku Kumari (Anushka Kaushik) coming to Raveena Tandon’s character and asking for legal aid. She believes that she was wrongly marked up in her exam sheet. After Tanvi takes her case, she realises that this is a much larger roll number scam that involves individuals in high-ranking positions. Patna Shuklla also stars Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Jatin Goswami.

In a statement, Arbaaz Khan spoke about his latest production, calling it a “special story”, “Patna Shuklla is the journey of Patna Shukla aka Tanvi Shukla is uncommon yet relatable. A woman managing her household and profession is what we have been seeing in today’s time, but what makes Patna Shuklla the superwoman is her courage to stand up for the truth. Each person who has worked on the film is extremely proud to bring a story from deep-rooted India.”

Tandon also added, “It is a story of a woman leading at the front and managing her household and work life, which certainly is every woman in our country. I’ve poured a part of myself into my character, and I’m eagerly looking forward to everyone experiencing it on Disney+ Hotstar. The trailer offers just a glimpse, and there’s so much more awaiting the audience in the full film.”
