New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hailed India’s progress and development and said that today the entire world is expressing confidence in India and there was never this kind of a positive sensitive about India’s progress. PM Modi was speaking at ET Now’s The Global Business Summit 2024 in Delhi.

“Even in Davos, there was unprecedented excitement about India. Someone said India is an unprecedented economic success story. Someone said India’s digital and physical infrastructure is on different heights. One big leader even compared India’s progress to rising bull. Today it is discused that India has transformed. All of this shows that India has a lot of confidence in India. There was never this kind of a positive sensitive about India’s progress. This is why I said from the Red Fort, “yahi samay hai, sahi samay hai”, PM Modi said.

PM Modi, in his address, said, “This is India’s time,” emphasizing the increasing global confidence in the nation. Highlighting the prevalent themes of “disruption, development, and diversification,” he underscored how India’s progress is a topic of extensive discussion worldwide. PM Modi even shared an anecdote where a world leader likened India to a “rising bull.”

PM Modi said “hamare aalochak all time low hai” as he said that the interim budget was praised by experts.

PM Modi speaking at the ET Now Global Summit 2024, fondly reminisced about the annual Davos gathering, where global business leaders convene to exchange ideas. In a lighthearted remark, PM Modi likened the Davos meet to the “Kumbh Mela” of business executives, humorously noting that the “liquid used is different,” alluding to the beverages typically enjoyed during such gatherings.

PM Modi further said, “In the developmental journey of any country, there comes a time when all the circumstances are in favor of the country, and when a country strengthens itself for the century. I see that now is that time for India.”
