BJP concludes final rally in Jind district with focus on upcoming elections
JIND: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has culminated its 90th and last assembly-wise rally which was attended by former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Julana town of Jind district on Tuesday.
Former CM, who is a BJP candidate for Karnal Lok Sabha seat, sought votes from people saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled his promises of 500-year-old issue of Rama temple, scraping of article 370, made India as world's 5th power, and others. But people should vote for saffron party to make the country world's 3rd power and to make the country as 'Vishvguru'. He said that elections of four phases have been ended and BJP has achieved its target of majority but people should vote to secure 400 seats for a strong government.
However, Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal skipped the event. He was scheduled to attend several events in Haryana but cancelled his visit due to unknown reasons..
Khattar said that opposition parties are misguiding people of the nation in the name of amendment in the Indian constitution, agniveer scheme and others issues.
Now all the big leaders of BJP will start holding rallies in Haryana till May 23 consecutively to secure a win on all 10 seats of the state. However, BJP doesn't need to worry till Rahul Gandhi is there. 'I give credit to Rahul Gandhi for making Narendra Modi as prime minister of India. Rahul Gandhi claims that he will make women lakhpati after forming government but it's better to earn with hard work rather than obtaining money with frauds. There is clear difference between the thinking of Rahul Gandhi and PM Modi. He thinks about himself and his mother Sonia Gandhi like former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda thinks for himself and his son Deepender Hooda. But BJP thinks for the country," he added.
Khattar counted his development works and his promises fulfilled during a tenure of 9.5 years in the state to seek votes. He gave a slogan that '25 May Congress gai aur 4 June ko BJP janta ko bhaai'.
Taking a dig on his opponents, he said that some JJP MLAs are in touch with him. Moreover, Congress leaders are seeking president rule in the state citing minority issue but should get sign of their 30 MLAs.
