An Iceland employee of ten years has hit back at a troll who shamed him for working at the supermarket chain.

Adcro from Yorkshire, who also goes by 'that cheerful bald guy', can often be found posting happy videos from the shop aisles.

However, in a recent clip, the usually chipper content creator hit out at one rude viewer attempting to shame him for his job.

No one expects to be ridiculed for a hard day's work, but one viewer decided to comment: '10 years in Iceland...Bro has no ambition.'

Responding to the rude remark, Adcro said: 'Why judge people for the job they are doing?

Adcro (pictured), who has worked at Iceland for over a decade hit back at a viewer who attempted to shame him for working at the supermarket chain

Elaborating further, Adcro said they shouldn't be judging people for how they earn their money as long as they 'pay their taxes'.

He added: 'Just get on with people and be nice to people. There is no need to be looking down and sneering at people for what they do in life.'

The hard worker was clearly taken aback by the comment, however his response video has since amassed over 350,000 views.

Thousands of people, who also work in similar customer service roles, flocked to the comments in support of the Iceland worker.

'I’ve been in my job for 17 years. Pays my bills and it’s stress-free. That’s all I care about,' one quipped.

A Tesco worker said: 'Almost 10 years at Tesco and I felt kinda bad and useless until this. So thanks.'

To which a positive Adcro responded: ' People need us Lauren, be proud.'

Another longtime service worker said:'I'm a cleaner of 19 years. I supported my family. I am not ashamed.'

One ASDA delivery driver chimed in, raving about how much they loved their job.

A person added: '19 years working in a bookies! I get judged all the time. I’m working! Isn’t that all that matters?'

Thousands came to Adcro's defence with many sharing how proud they were to work in a customer facing role. Even TikTok sensation Spudman revealed he is judged 'all the time'

One supporter penned: 'I know a 30-year-old who started at Iceland at 16, and she is now area manager!'

'Work is work!! Someone has to do the jobs,' another quipped.

'Job snobbery is insane. I’ve never understood it,' a viewer wrote, whilst one added: 'Can you imagine judging someone for working?'

Even TikTok sensation himself Ben, who goes by Spudman and boasts three and a half million followers, backed Adcro.

He said: '22 years in a catering trailer. I get judged all the time. I just sit back and smile,' with Adcro responding: 'Cheers Ben.'
