Following a circuit of visits this past spring, four-star wide receiver Quincy Porter has trimmed his potential commitment options down to six schools.
Porter informed On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Monday that the schools he will choose from will be the Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas A&M Aggies, Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions, Oklahoma Sooners, and Alabama Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder is ranked the No. 47 overall prospect, No. 6 wide receiver, and No. 1 recruit in New Jersey in the 2025 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
Porter is eying to announce his commitment prior to his senior season at Bergen Catholic.
Michigan currently holds the lead at 29.9% for Porter in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Porter was in Ann Arbor last month and also scheduled an official visit for the weekend of June 14. Michigan’s offensive staff also visited Bergen Catholic earlier this month, according to On3’s Hunter Shelton.
“I have a great relationship with (wide receivers coach) Coach (Ron) Bellamy,” Porter told The Wolverine after the visit from the staff. “It was fun to see him again. I was able to see Coach Newsome, who I’ve known for a while. It was also good getting to know Coach Campbell. I like them all a lot.”
In addition to the Wolverines, Porter has scheduled upcoming official visits to Ohio State and Oklahoma. He was in Columbus last month and visited Norman in early March.
For now, all six schools will have to wait until early fall to hear which legendary uniform Porter elects to don in 2025.
