Clever Destiny 2 TMNT Armor Designs Have Players Wishing for a New Four-Player Activity
A Destiny 2 player has bolstered the forces of the Vanguard and the Guardians with Turtle Power, thanks to a set of creative Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed armor customizations. The Destiny 2 armor sets cleverly replicate the look of all four pizza-loving reptiles, using careful arrangements of armor parts and color shaders.
Thanks in part to the game’s vibrant and creative community, Destiny 2 continues to burnish its broader pop culture credentials. The game has seen multiple branded crossover cosmetic sets hit its premium Eververse store, including armor customizations based on games like God of War, Assassin’s Creed, and even Fortnite. Not every crossover has gone over well, though, with a lukewarm reception for a recent Destiny 2 Ghostbusters cosmetic pack.

Destiny 2 Players Are Still Calling For One Cosmetic Feature Several Years Later
Despite getting many changes to improve character cosmetics, one small-but-important feature still eludes some frustrated Destiny 2 players.
That said, these licensed brand collaborations pale in comparison to the energy creative fans can bring when expressing their love for, say, the Master Chief from Halo. One of those fans is user I_am_Rezix, who shared a comprehensive customization key based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the Destiny 2 subreddit. All four costumes use parts for a Destiny 2 Titan Guardian, and in keeping with the status of the turtles as siblings, uses the same parts, with the variety coming from color blocking via shader setups.
The core of I_am_Rezix’s TMNT armor customization is the premium Wolf-Kissed Plate chest piece, which is based on an iconic armor set from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Wolf-Kissed Plate carries a large circular shield on its back at all times, giving the armor the effect of a big turtle shell. Meanwhile, the Parade Helm from the new Destiny 2: Into the Light update armor set resembles the turtles’ smooth, bandanna-covered faces. The Exotic Augmented Auspice arms, Retro-Grade TG2 legs, and Midnight Exigent class item rounds out the armor’s silhouette.

Destiny 2 community members were quick to praise I_am_Rezix’s work, paying particular attention to their careful selection of armor shaders to distinguish between turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. I_am_Rezix selected just the right shaders to continually maintain the turtles’ green skin coloration while still adopting an appropriate color for each sibling, an aesthetic that has remained consistent and unchanging through many iterations of the TMNT animated series.

The appeal of the TMNT-themed armor customization excited the community, and many fellow Destiny 2 players echoed I_am_Rezix’s call for Bungie to add a four-player activity to the game, so that a team can finally bring all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Last City’s defense.
