The Dunelm sale took shoppers by storm in January but sadly it came to an end around two weeks ago. However, the retailer has just launched a clearance sale online.
The clearance has discounts on lots of items including furniture – such as wardrobes and chest of drawers – curtains, cushions and more. We have spotted lots of bedding for a great price.
These neutral checkered set would look lovely in any room, no matter the colour scheme. Normally priced at £15 – £24 you can currently buy them for £10.50 to £16,80.
There are sizes single, double and king size. The description reads: “Lie in bed with the dreamiest of bedding with our Dawin Checked duvet cover and pillowcase set, encased in a soft brushed cotton material to give you ultimate comfort and cosiness when sleeping. What’s even better?
“This bedding set features two different checked prints, a grey and natural coloured checked print on one side and a plain grey checked print on the reverse, allowing you to switch up your bedding whenever you desire.”

One shopper said: “Have similar cover already and was looking for another. Warm and cosy for the cold weather.”
Another wrote: “After weeks of bitterly cold nights, and more of the same forecast, I bought this duvet cover/pillow cases set. It was a delight, especially the brushed fabric pillowcases, and I had such a lovely sleep I don’t think I moved all night! Thank you Dunelm for knowing just what was needed!.
And a third commented: “I absolutely love this duvet cover, so soft, warm and cosy.”
Some shoppers have had issues with the bedding after they washed it, one wrote: “I bought this item for its warmth, I have washed it for the first time and part of the seam (about four inches) has come undone, shall be heading into store for a refund.”
A second agreed commenting: “Lovely soft duvet set but after washing it I noticed a large rip down the side. I would have had to wrap it all up send it back. Too much bother so I sewed it up myself. This is the 2nd item I have bought with a rip in it. Very disappointed with the quality as Dunelm is usually very good.”
Debenhams also had a sale on bedding, this Sanderson set is currently on sale. It has a traditional rustic design and comes in three neutral colours, including beige, ivory and grey.
Asda doesn’t have a sale but generally, the grocer’s bedding is reasonably priced. If you prefer something less greige then this busy, frilly pink and red set is fun and striking – prices start from £12.
