Gardaí appeal for footage of Dublin riots from public as investigation continues

Gardaí have appealed to members of the public who may have footage of the Dublin riots that took place last Thursday.

An Garda Síochána are in the process of collating and harvesting CCTV and social media images from the events and an incident room has been established at Store Street Garda Station and a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed.

Since the events of last Thursday, authorities have received a significant volume of support from the public, including the receipt of images and videos.

As they continue with their investigation, gardaí have appealed to anyone who was present in Dublin city centre on Thursday November 23 who may have video footage or images, in any format, to contact Gardaí at Store Street Garda Station via email at [email protected], with their contact details only.

The public is not requested to submit any footage at this time. Members of the investigation team will make contact with them to arrange for the appropriate collection of any video footage.
