Hello, good evening. It should stay dry for many of us into the start of the weekend, but across the South it’s actually some very heavy rain to come, and that rain has been affecting much of Cornwall throughout this afternoon. That will start to spread into many other southern counties of England, perhaps South Wales overnight. So some very heavy rain, potentially some tricky travelling conditions across the South Coast through this evening. Further north though, it’s going to be a very dry night, a clear one as well, so it’s going to be another cold start to the day On Saturday, lows down to -5° in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland once again, so you may be waking up to a frost if you’re in the north and West, but you’ll also be waking up to plenty of sunshine, so it should be a good start. Across many northern areas to the weekend, but cloud will thicken through the day similar to how it has done through Friday. There’s a risk of a few showers, particularly across coastal areas Into Saturday. Across Wales and the Midlands, it’s going to be a cloudier day tomorrow. There’ll be some outbreaks of rain as well, on and off and across the South Coast. It will turn a bit brighter into the afternoon, but we could see a few showers breaking out. However, in any of those brighter spells it’s going to start to feel a little bit warmer. Temperatures will be climbing much closer to where they should be for this time of year. Highs of 14, possibly 15° along the South Coast. So through Saturday evening we’ll start to see some more persistent and heavier rain spread in from the South and east. So it’s going to be a quite a wet night for many areas of England, perhaps southern areas of Wales as well. The far northwest should escape much of this rain. There is some uncertainty in exactly the western extent of this area of rain, but I think at least Northern Ireland and western areas of Scotland should stay dry, Perhaps the far West of Wales as well. Underneath that cloud and rain it’s going to be a very unpleasant night, some very heavy spells of rain, but as I said, it is turning much milder from the South and E however, where it stays dry and clear, It’s going to be another cold start to the day on Sunday but again. It should stay fairly dry and bright throughout the day across the north and West. By contrast, across the east it’s going to be a wet day. However, as we head towards the afternoon, this area of rain, it’s wrapped around an area of low pressure and that will slowly start to push away into the North Sea. So it will turn a bit brighter in the afternoon across Wales and into the southwest. And temperatures, as I said, will be much closer to average for the time of year highs of 11 or 12 degrees. So the winds are a little bit stronger, but it will start to improve. Those temperatures will continue to rise into the start of next week, but before then we’ve still got some particularly cold nights to come and some further frost. Keep up to date through the weekend by subscribing us over to us on YouTube. Bye bye.
