Actor Sayaji Shinde undergoes emergency angioplasty after severe chest pain

Renowned actor Sayaji Shinde was admitted to Pratibha Hospital in Satara on April 11 due to severe chest pain. Later on, he underwent an emergency angioplasty, after which his health stabilised.Â

His family had promptly admitted him to the hospital when he experienced severe chest pain. Doctors found a 99 per cent blockage in one of his three blood vessels during heart tests. As his condition worsened, he underwent various tests where doctors discovered arterial blockages impeding the blood flow to his heart. Post an angioplasty, the actor’s health has stabilised.

Shinde recently took to social media to reassure his fans about his health, stating that he would soon return to entertain them. Sharing a video, he wrote, “Hi, I’m very well, all the fans who love me, my well wishers are with me, nothing to worry now, will be there for your entertainment soon thank you…!!! (sic).”

His post garnered numerous messages wishing him a speedy recovery. Despite this, Shinde’s condition is stable, and he is expected to be discharged in the next two days.

Shinde, known for his roles in films like ‘Shool’, ‘Singham’, ‘Nenokkadine’, and ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, was most recently seen in the Netflix web series, ‘Killer Soup’. He is currently involved in several upcoming projects. He is noted for his work in Hindi, Marathi, and South Indian cinema, often playing antagonist roles.
