Anthony Edwards Goes Viral for Taunting Suns During Timberwolves' Game 3 Win

Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards is quickly becoming one of the biggest names in basketball.

On Friday night, Edwards led the Timberwolves with 36 points, nine rebounds and five assists in Minnesota’s 126-109 Game 3 NBA Playoff victory.

In the closing moments of the Timberwolves’ victory, the Suns let their emotions get the best of them. Josh Okogie was assessed a flagrant two for a hard foul on Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert with just under three minutes left in the contest.

Moments later, ESPN’s coverage panned over to Edwards, who was seen taunting the Suns in the closing moments, hitting Kevin Durant and Co. with the DX celebration.

Bill Simmons, meanwhile, chimed in with an excellent point about how Anthony Edwards play throughout the postseason cements his spot in Team USA’s starting lineup this summer.

“Underrated subplot from series: Ant absolutely and unequivocally took the Team USA starting 2-guard spot from Booker,” Simmons said.
