Elon Musk’s Neuralink has filed to switch its incorporation to Nevada, according to public records.
Records from the Nevada Secretary of State’s office show that Neuralink, Musk’s company working to develop a brain-computer interface, filed for articles of incorporation in the state on Thursday.
The company was previously incorporated in the state of Delaware.
Neuralink’s filing is the latest move by Musk to move away from Delaware after a state court on Jan. 30 struck down his multibillion-dollar pay package from Tesla.
“Never incorporate your company in the state of Delaware,” Musk said on X, the social-media platform he owns, after the court’s decision.
Shortly after, Musk said he would hold a shareholder vote on moving Tesla to Texas.
