Tributes have been paid to Greta Price-Martin

The funeral details for a young cyclist who was tragically killed this week following a collision in Dublin have been announced.

Greta Price-Martin, 22, lost her life on Wednesday morning when she was involved in a collision with a truck at the junction of Glenageary Road Upper, Mountown Road Lower and Kill Avenue while she was cycling to work.

Emergency services rushed Greta to the nearby St Vincent’s Hospital, where she later died as a result of her injuries.

A native of Templetown, Cooley, Co Louth, tributes have been pouring in for Greta, who had recently completed her first year at IADT and started her first job in film production, from where she collected a huge circle of friends.

Greta will be dearly missed by her loving family, including her adoring parents, Breffni and Vanessa, sister Ruth, brothers Jack and Louis, partner Charlie, as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

On Friday, the funeral details for Greta, who has been described as ‘the apple of her dad’s eye’, were announced with a gathering for family and friends to take place in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.

A funeral ceremony celebrating Greta’s life will then be held in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin on Monday at 4pm, followed by a cremation.
