katie taylor shows off injuries as she poses for photo day after chantelle cameron win

Katie Taylor showed off her injuries following her epic win

Katie Taylor showed off her injuries following her epic fight against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin on Saturday night.

The Bray fighter was forced to dig deep and produce one of the best performances of her storied career as she avenged her May defeat.

And Taylor celebrated with friends and family and posed for photos alongside training partner Amy Broadhurst.

In the photo, Taylor is sporting a number of bumps and bruises following the epic encounter and will now take a well-deserved break following the win.

Sharing a photo, Broadhurst said: “The day after #undisputed”

Next up for Taylor could be a trilogy bout in Croke Park.

Eddie Hearn has pleaded with GAA bosses to cut costs to allow Ireland’s “greatest ever athlete” Katie Taylor to fight at Croke Park.

An agreement had been made on the hiring of the stadium for Taylor’s homecoming last May – but the stumbling block between the GAA and Matchroom came to €500,000 for the cost of security and other expenses.

“I feel like everyone has to put the pressure on, from the country to politicians to the sport,” said Hearn.

“We could make a financial case on tourism and why an event like this would be a huge success for this country.

“But if they can’t understand the compassionate side of giving this event and night to their greatest ever athlete then I really don’t know what we are doing.

“We’re not even asking for favours. All we are asking for is for the cost to be in line with the biggest stadia in the world where we hold boxing.

“We don’t want a free stadium – if they want to give us one that would be marvellous – all we are saying is if we could just make it there or thereabouts at Wembley, or Millennium Stadium or Dallas Cowboys (in terms of cost).

“Should we just all try and work together – what a moment that would be. You saw that tonight, and that’s only 9,000.

“This is Katie’s third successive seven figure gate – Madison Square Garden and now twice at the 3 Arena.
