MANILA, Philippines: The city government of Manila and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Tuesday opened the Lagusnilad underpass located in front of Manila City hall.
The six-month renovation of the national highway, which started in May 2023, included renovating its drainage system and overall road structure, hoping to lessen travel time of public transport.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Maria Sheila “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan, Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto, Fifth District Rep. Irwin Tieng, DPWH South Manila District Engineer Mikunug Macud, and City Engineer Armand Andres.
