Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is still getting used to scoring touchdowns in the NFL.

He scored two of them during the team’s 20-10 “Sunday Night Football” victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, but quarterback Lamar Jackson didn’t approve of one of his teammate’s touchdown celebrations.

Jackson connected with Flowers on a three-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for the rookie’s second career score. What followed was what the former MVP called the “worst celebration (he’s) ever seen.” Jackson also called Flowers’ decision to use a play-on-words with his last name and toss the football backward like a bouquet of flowers “horrible.”

The former MVP added that since Flowers ended up scoring, everything was “good.”

With Baltimore leading 13-10 and facing a critical third down with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the wideout took a handoff from Jackson and burst for a 37-yard rushing touchdown. Flowers then lined up five or so yards away from fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the end zone, who stood next to the goalpost as a fake soccer goalie.

Flowers booted his “penalty kick” to the left as OBJ dove to the right, scoring a “goal.”

Both Flowers and Jackson played big parts in the Ravens’ prime-time victory in Week 12 and have been key forces in the team’s 9-3 start. Baltimore enters their Week 13 bye with the best record in the AFC.

Jackson went 18-for-32 for 177 passing yards with one touchdown, no interceptions and 39 rushing yards on 11 carries on Sunday. He’s recorded a career-best 68.3 completion percentage for 2,618 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions for a 98.4 passer rating. Jackson added 574 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 112 carries.

Flowers finished the victory against Los Angeles with a team-high five catches for 25 yards and one touchdown, as well as one carry for a 37-yard touchdown. The 23-year-old leads Baltimore in targets (80), receptions (58), receiving yards (613), yards after catch (286) and receiving first downs (28).
