It has been revealed a released immigration detainee is unable to be contacted by authorities.
Border Force has referred the matter to the Federal Police as authorities are attempting to contact the person.
Despite committing to mandatory electric monitoring of former detainees four of the 141 released since November 8 have refused.
It comes as the High Court is expected to release the reasons for its decision to rule indefinite detention illegal on Tuesday.
Emergency legislation to impose curfews and track the freed group was pushed through Federal Parliament last week as a way of keeping the community safe, however Border Force Commissioner Michael Outram said authorities were already getting pushback from some of the freed detainees.
