Sangeeta Odwani returns to TV with Karmadhikari Shanidev, actress will play Goddess Saraswati for the second time

Sangeeta Odwani has earlier essayed the role of Goddess Saraswati in Devi Adi Parashakti, but recently she got another offer to play the goddess. She will not play the role in Karmadhikari Shanidev. The actress shared how she is excited about her new role.

She said, “Back in 2020, I had enjoyed shooting for that mythological show, and now almost after 3 years, I got a similar opportunity on another show. This gives me a chance to know more about Goddess Saraswati and I am happy to explore and learn more about her. It is said that she is calm, beautiful and has all the knowledge about the universe. She is the goddess of art. And being offered and cast for such roles makes me feel great as an actor.”

Sangeeta revealed that she is making a comeback to TV after three years, as she took a break to enjoy opportunities on other platforms.

She continued, “After playing a mythological role on TV in 2020, I wished to take up a different role, maybe play a glamorous character. Hence I took a break from TV and enjoyed working on other platforms. In 2021 I got interesting roles in the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer The Big Bull and Vintage Boys. Earlier this year, I did another web series titled Manghadant.”

She added, “When I was offered this role on TV, I felt I should take it up. I was missing being on TV and a role like this I couldn’t miss out on. I’m also doing another TV show but as it is in its initial stage, I’m not allowed to talk about it.”

Sangeeta came into the limelight after she played an interesting part in Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal.
