Chinese New Year marks the beginning of a new year according to the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. The second new moon after the winter solstice marks the first day of the Chinese New Year. This year, the major Asian festival will start on Saturday, February 10. As millions come together to celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Dragon, here are some traditional dishes you should try.

The flavourful dish consists of a variety of ingredients including pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, abalone, ginseng, shark fin, fish maw, prawns, crabs, fishballs, squid, dried shrimp, crispy pigskin, beancurd, and radish.
