Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says Australia’s population “ballooned” by a record 660,000 people in the year to September.
Ms De Giorgio says this comes as nearly “550,000 migrants joined us” from overseas.
She said it is showing “no sign of slowing down any time soon” as “big Australia is getting even bigger”.
“With the number of temporary visas issued by the Albanese government hitting a record high in the first quarter of the year, meaning one in every 30 people in Australia in March 2024 was on either a student visa or a graduate visa,” she said.
