A fire broke out in Parola compound in Manila on Tuesday noon, the city disaster risk reduction and management office said.
In a Facebook post, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) said the fire incident was verified at 12:11 p.m. and reached the third alarm around 12:24 p.m.
The fire was declared under control at 12:53 p.m and finally put out at 1:32 p.m.
According to a report of Manny Vargas on Super Radyo dzBB, the fire investigators are still determining the cause of the incident and the number of burned houses.
The fire spread and also reached three tricycles parked on the MICT Road.
A fire volunteer of Manila Parola experienced difficulty breathing and their head was also physically assaulted, the report said.—Joviland Rita/AOL/RF, GMA Integrated News
