PNP revokes Quiboloy’s firearm licenses

Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Marbil has approved the recommendation of the PNP’s  Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) to revoke the license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) of fugitive televangelist Apollo Quiboloy.

PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo confirmed via Viber Marbil’s approval of the FEO’s recommendation.

No Chinese vessel was monitored during the joint exercise of the Philippines, France, and the United States in the West Philippine Sea as part of the Balikatan war games, Balikatan information bureau chief Lt. Col. John Paul Salgado said on Friday.

“So far, we have not monitored any presence; they are sailing smoothly,” Lt. Col. John Paul Salgado, Balikatan’s information bureau chief, said in a public briefing when asked about the presence of Chinese vessels.

Dela Rosa airs views on ICC’s reported talks with cops on drug war

Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Friday said he feels sorry for government officials being forced to allegedly “cooperate” with the International Criminal Court (ICC) probe into the war on drugs of the Duterte administration.

Dela Rosa, who served as the first Philippine National Police chief of the Duterte administration, made the remark after former senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s recently claimed that ICC investigators have talked to over 50 former and active police officers about the war on drugs of the previous administration.
