LA Tenorio set for Sunday return in Ginebra vs Terrafirma game: Cone
LA Tenorio could be making his PBA return on Sunday when Barangay Ginebra faces Terrafirma in the 48th Season Commissioner’s Cup.
Ginebra coach Tim Cone laid down the target date for Tenorio’s much-awaited comeback game since recovering from cancer a few months ago.
“LA is targeting December 3 as his return date into the line-up,” said Cone on Monday.
Tenorio was declared cancer free last September. He underwent a series of treatment when he was diagnosed with colon cancer last March.
The 39-year-old Tenorio last saw action February 19 when Barangay Ginebra went up against Blackwater where he played 14 minutes and 43 seconds, and scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds in the 119-93 win in the 2022-23 Governors’ Cup.
Tenorio’s target date of return could come following Ginebra’s 90-87 win over Blackwater last Sunday at the Philsports Arena – its third victory in four games.
