The New England Patriots entered the offseason with a ton of cap space to spend, but they didn’t go out and add a franchise-altering talent.

Instead, they added a number of players who could make an impact but won’t be keeping opposing coordinators and coaches up every night.

De facto general manager Eliot Wolf and company have brought in nine outside free agents with roughly two weeks left until the 2024 NFL draft.

Before the Patriots add some talent through the seven-round selection process, let’s take a look at who they’ve added so far and how Pro Football Focus graded them for the 2023 season.
